Meeting called to Order at 1:06 PM

The meeting opened with introductions of members and guest, with 22 present.

The minutes of the March meeting were read. Randy Hutchison moved to accept the minutes as read. Jacque Schmidt seconded and the motion passed.

The treasures report was read. Larry Noble moved to accept the report as read. Randy Hutchison seconded and the motion passed.

Deb Palmer reported the loss of the raffle tickets in the U.S. Mail which the WPA bought from PLP. She stopped payment on the check and will get in touch with the PLP and have them sent more tickets. The drawing is in June.

President Curtis Addison read a letter from WalMart on their “Spring Event”. It will be May 18th, 19th, and 20th. After some discussion, Les Armstrong made a motion to get more information. Deb Palmer seconded and the motion passed.

Deb reported the day in the park is July 14. After a discussion Les Armstrong volunteered to ramrod the set-up. Jacque Schmidt made a motion to send the $60.00 for a booth spot. Kim Raymond seconded and motion passed.

Deb Palmer read a Thank You from the VFW for the donation.

Les and Janiece went to Casper and picked up the Membership Coordinators Computer, Printer and the Gold Panner the club voted to buy for the drawing at our annual outing.

After a discussing on the meat for the outing Jacque Schmidt made a motion that the club buy pork roast, beef roast and hot dogs. Kim seconded and motion passed.

Les Armstrong made a motion to have the May 12 meeting at The Miners Grubstake in Atlantic City at 8:00 AM with members buying their own breakfast at 9:00. Mace Countryman seconded and motion passed.

Randy will do a follow up on Maps and Claims.

Meeting adjourned at 1:55 PM

50-50 raffle won by Jacque Schmidt.

Door prize won by David Olson.

Randy Hutchison gave a presentation on locating a claim within a section.

It was confirmed Wed. April 18, 2012 after talking to the Management at Miners Grubstake that the May 12, 2012 meeting will be held at 8:00 AM with a no host breakfast to follow at 9:00. Randy will do a follow-up on checking status etc. on claims.
